Io penso sia un'insolita farfalla......


Con un piccolo pezzetto di lino,pizzo antico, passamaneria e tessuto Americano.

Penso che una regola fondamentale per chi ama creare sia quella di non buttare mai via nulla!!!


Dentro l'armadio  delle meraviglie, assieme ai tessuti in metratura ho tanti pezzetti di lino e alcuni sono veramente piccoli ma li tengo tutti perchè possono sempre servire poi... ho una scatola con dentro tantissimi pizzi e passamanerie ed alcuni sono antichi, trovati nei mercatini dell'antiquariato.


Ma che si può fare con un pezzetto veramente piccolo di lino, un paio di ritagli di pizzo, qualche centimetro di passamaneria e... con alcuni marcabiancheria???


Una semplicissima cornice e voilà......


I think a basic rule for those who like to create is to not throw anything away!


In my cabinet of wonders, along with fabrics by the meter, I have many pieces of linen and some are really small but I keep them all because they can always serve then ... I have a box with lots of lace and trimmings, and some are old, found in antique markets.


But you can do with a really small piece of linen, lace, trimming ... with some marcabiancheria???
(Unfortunately I do not know the name of "marcabiancheria" in English ...)


A simple frame and ......

Un leggero volo di farfalla, poi...si è fermata su un piccolo pezzetto di tessuto e da questa unione è nato un bigliettino.
Con un minutissimo pizzo antico sul bigliettino ho creato il leggero volo di farfalla....  ho messo il bigliettino dentro una busta per spedirla.
 Forse........


A slight flight of a butterfly, then ... it stopped on a small piece of tissue and from this union was born a note.
With a tiny antique lace on the note I created the flight of a butterfly .... I put the note in an envelope to send it.
  Maybe ........

Farfalla ricamata con mulinè ad un capo solo in varie gradazioni di colore.
Tessuto di cotone tinto a mano da me con il caffè.
Pizzo antico.
Nastrino di raso.
Stoffa giapponese per la busta cucita interamente a mano.


Butterfly embroidered.
Cotton fabric hand-dyed by me with the coffee.
Antique lace.
Satin ribbon.
Japanese fabric for the envelope sewn entirely by hand.

Un piccolo pezzo di lino e del pizzo si sono uniti per dare vita ad un'altro " Ottagono " e.... sulla mia piccola creazione si è posata una Farfalla.

Ne è nato un portafoto.

Forse un po' insolito..... voi che ne dite??? 

A small piece of linen and lace are combined to give life to another "Octagon" and ... on my little creation has placed a butterfly.

The result is a photo frame .....

Maybe a little 'unusual ..... What do you say??

Lino e pizzo li ho acquistati in Francia lo scorso anno ed il bottone a Farfalla è di ButtonMade.

Memories..............

Ricordi, non solo nella  mente....... anche un fiore regalato durante una passeggiata che hai essiccato per poterlo conservare per sempre, oppure un piccolo foglio di carta con scritto sopra  " Ti Amo ", un piccolissimo oggetto che ti hanno regalato tanto tempo fa ed ancora oggi lo conservi con cura.
I ricordi possono essere anche oggetti..........

Se conservi il fiore che ti hanno regalato tanti anni fa oppure il bigliettino dove c'è scritto"Ti Amo" o  tutte quelle piccole cose che per affetto, per Amore oppure per passione sono a te care vi è un posto dove riporle........

Memories, not only in the mind ....... also given a flower during a walk and then dried to keep you forever, or a small piece of paper that said "I love you", a tiny object that your best friend gave you when you were still a child and still keep it with care.
Memories can also be objects ..........

If you keep the flower that you gave so many years ago or the slip of paper that say "I love you" or all those little things for love, for passion, or you care about is there is a place to store them .........

Non di carta ma di lino, dove mettere la cosa a te più cara.

An envelope by mail .......
Not paper but linen, where to put the thing most dear to you.

Poi... se apri la busta troverai anche un bigliettino tutto di cotone.

Then ... if you open the envelope you will also find a note of all cotton.

Lino e passamaneria sono stati tinti da me ed ho cucito tutto interamente a mano.


Linen and trimmings were dyed by me and I sewed everything by hand.
