Time has passed since the last post.

Lately my embroideries are slow for the type of yarn that I use and need lots of patience...

Here is my last Sampler.

Embroidered with viscose yarn fineness 30

Two birds

Drawn on old canvas sheet, 28 skeins of floss and a piece of braid in linen and hemp.
Many changes of color for the birds and lots of patience to create the color palette. 
This is what is born.

I used....

28 color changes for these two little birds and now I resume the needle, embroidery thread and thimble to finish the project.

Il tempo passa troppo in fretta ed in un'attimo ti accorgi che sono passati mesi dalla pubblicazione dell'ultimo post...

Ho iniziato un ricamo che prenderà forma nel tempo ed una volta terminato penserò come strutturarlo.

Time passes too quickly and in a moment you realize that months have passed since the publication of the last post....

I started an embroidery that will shape over time and when finished I will think how to structure it.

Once upon a time.......

Ricordo che quando ero piccola mia madre faceva confezionare per me dal sarto " l'abitino buono " per indossarlo alla domenica, quando arrivava Pasqua ci si metteva per la prima volta quello che sarebbe stato l'abito primaverile...

I remember when I was little, the tailor sewed for mr the " good dress " to wear on Sunday, when it came Easter we put for the first time what would have been the spring dress....

Scarpine nuove, insomma....
Era una Gioia Immensa!!!

New shoes, in short.....
A Immense Joy!!!

Ora tutto è cambiato, quando ti serve o vuoi un'abito o un paio di jeans te li compri e sicuramente quella gioia che c'era nell'indossare una cosa nuova ora non si percepisce più......

Now everything has changed, when you need or want a pair of jeans or dress you buy it and certainly the joy that was in wearing a new thing now is no longer perceived.....

Con le scarpette nuove ricordo che mi sembrava di essere una regina che camminava su una manto di fiori come nelle favole.....

With the new shoes I remember that I felt like a queen who walked on a carpe of flowers as in a fairy tales and......

Come nelle favole ecco una scarpetta...
As in a fairy tale here is a shoe.......

How much time......

Quanto tempo è passato dall'ultimo post.....
Faccio tutto l'opposto rispetto agli orsi....
Invece di andare in letargo in inverno lo faccio durante l'estate...
Parlo di letargo creativo....
Non sono ancora  a regime perchè il caldo che sembrava ci avesse abbandonato si è ripresentato ed ancora non riesco a ricamare o creare come vorrei.....
Intanto per augurare un felice Settembre a tutti dedico questo cuore con una farfalla ricamata a punto pittura  a tutte le persone che passeranno dal  mio blog.


How much time has passed since the last post .....

Manca poco all'inizio della primavera e...

Il crocus è ansioso di mostrarsi in tutta la sua bellezza e fa capolino tra la neve pur di essere il primo a sbocciare.....
The crocus is eager to show itself in all its beauty and also peeps through the snow just to be the first to bloom.....

A black cotton lace ....

Una nappina ed un bottone........
A tassel and a button ........

Un pezzetto di imbottitura  in puro cotone e.....
A piece of cotton padding and.....

Mescolando tutti questi ingredienti ne nasce...
