I miei progetti...


Quelli realizzati e quelli ancora da realizzare o solo abbozzati, quelli che nascono per associazione di idee  che ho trascritto su un foglio per non dimenticare......


In una cartella, che ho realizzato con la tecnica del cartonnage usando tessuto in puro cotone e  un semplicissimo ricamo per dare quel tocco in più.

The Spring is knocking on the door.......

Domani è il primo giorno di primavera..
E di questo inizio del ciclo vitale di Madre Natura..... ho rubato due fiori.


Tomorrow is the first day of Spring. 
From this beginning of the life cycle of Mother Nature...... I have steal two flowers.

Lino, cotonina americana e due spille...
Rifiniti a punto festone e con le corolle ricamate a punto nodino (usando la tecnica giapponese).


Linen, American fabric and pins.
In the centre embroidered with  knot point ( using the Japanese tecnique).

White and gray......

Rose di un'insolito colore grigio, stampate su un tessuto bianco che, bianco bianco non è.....
Lino grigio e pizzo ed inoltre, un bottone ricoperto.
 Cosa ne è uscito da questo insieme di stoffe????

Roses of an unusual gray color, printed on a white fabric, white is not white .....
Gray linen and lace, and also a button covered.
  What has emerged from this set of materials??

Una borsetta porta lavoro ma può essere anche usata per uscire se volete vestire in modo romantico.


Carries a handbag work but can also be used to exit if you want to dress in a romantic way.

Ma cosa sbuca dalla borsetta????

Ho creato un'altro schema a punto croce ed ho provato a ricamarlo, certo non essendo molto pratica di questo tipo di ricamo mi sono semplificata il tutto ricamandola su tela Aida (spero tanto che le brave ricamatrici di punto croce mi perdonino) perchè dovevo vedere  il lavoro in fase di esecuzione....... e chissà cosa nascerà da questo ricamo!!!


I created another cross-stitch pattern and tried to stitch it, certainly not very practical for this type of embroidery I simplified everything they embroider on canvas aida (I hope that the Ladies of Cross Stitch embroidery forgive me) because I had to see the work at run ....... and who knows what will come of this embroidery!

Frame.........

Penso che una regola fondamentale per chi ama creare sia quella di non buttare mai via nulla!!!


Dentro l'armadio  delle meraviglie, assieme ai tessuti in metratura ho tanti pezzetti di lino e alcuni sono veramente piccoli ma li tengo tutti perchè possono sempre servire poi... ho una scatola con dentro tantissimi pizzi e passamanerie ed alcuni sono antichi, trovati nei mercatini dell'antiquariato.


Ma che si può fare con un pezzetto veramente piccolo di lino, un paio di ritagli di pizzo, qualche centimetro di passamaneria e... con alcuni marcabiancheria???


Una semplicissima cornice e voilà......


I think a basic rule for those who like to create is to not throw anything away!


In my cabinet of wonders, along with fabrics by the meter, I have many pieces of linen and some are really small but I keep them all because they can always serve then ... I have a box with lots of lace and trimmings, and some are old, found in antique markets.


But you can do with a really small piece of linen, lace, trimming ... with some marcabiancheria???
(Unfortunately I do not know the name of "marcabiancheria" in English ...)


A simple frame and ......

Un leggero volo di farfalla, poi...si è fermata su un piccolo pezzetto di tessuto e da questa unione è nato un bigliettino.
Con un minutissimo pizzo antico sul bigliettino ho creato il leggero volo di farfalla....  ho messo il bigliettino dentro una busta per spedirla.
 Forse........


A slight flight of a butterfly, then ... it stopped on a small piece of tissue and from this union was born a note.
With a tiny antique lace on the note I created the flight of a butterfly .... I put the note in an envelope to send it.
  Maybe ........

Farfalla ricamata con mulinè ad un capo solo in varie gradazioni di colore.
Tessuto di cotone tinto a mano da me con il caffè.
Pizzo antico.
Nastrino di raso.
Stoffa giapponese per la busta cucita interamente a mano.


Butterfly embroidered.
Cotton fabric hand-dyed by me with the coffee.
Antique lace.
Satin ribbon.
Japanese fabric for the envelope sewn entirely by hand.

Un piccolo pezzo di lino e del pizzo si sono uniti per dare vita ad un'altro " Ottagono " e.... sulla mia piccola creazione si è posata una Farfalla.

Ne è nato un portafoto.

Forse un po' insolito..... voi che ne dite??? 

A small piece of linen and lace are combined to give life to another "Octagon" and ... on my little creation has placed a butterfly.

The result is a photo frame .....

Maybe a little 'unusual ..... What do you say??

Lino e pizzo li ho acquistati in Francia lo scorso anno ed il bottone a Farfalla è di ButtonMade.

Linen and lace I bought them in France last year, the  Buttefly button is made by ButtonMade.

Memories..............

Ricordi, non solo nella  mente....... anche un fiore regalato durante una passeggiata che hai essiccato per poterlo conservare per sempre, oppure un piccolo foglio di carta con scritto sopra  " Ti Amo ", un piccolissimo oggetto che ti hanno regalato tanto tempo fa ed ancora oggi lo conservi con cura.
I ricordi possono essere anche oggetti..........

Se conservi il fiore che ti hanno regalato tanti anni fa oppure il bigliettino dove c'è scritto"Ti Amo" o  tutte quelle piccole cose che per affetto, per Amore oppure per passione sono a te care vi è un posto dove riporle........

Memories, not only in the mind ....... also given a flower during a walk and then dried to keep you forever, or a small piece of paper that said "I love you", a tiny object that your best friend gave you when you were still a child and still keep it with care.
Memories can also be objects ..........

If you keep the flower that you gave so many years ago or the slip of paper that say "I love you" or all those little things for love, for passion, or you care about is there is a place to store them .........

Non di carta ma di lino, dove mettere la cosa a te più cara.

An envelope by mail .......
Not paper but linen, where to put the thing most dear to you.

Poi... se apri la busta troverai anche un bigliettino tutto di cotone.

Then ... if you open the envelope you will also find a note of all cotton.

Lino e passamaneria sono stati tinti da me ed ho cucito tutto interamente a mano.


Linen and trimmings were dyed by me and I sewed everything by hand.

Wicker basket......

Ogni tanto succede che mentre te ne stai girando per il supermercato alla ricerca di un detersivo per lavare i piatti di passare davanti a dei cesti di vimini,in mezzo a tanti cesti di tante forme ne vedi uno che attira la tua attenzione....il detersivo per i piatti è ormai dimenticato come il resto delle cose che dovresti comprare!!!
Il cervello inizia a pensare cosa potresti fare con quel cestino e mentre pensi...... lo hai già messo nel tuo carrello della spesa!!!!
Lo porti a casa e dopo alcuni giorni...............

Every so often happens that while you're shooting it for the supermarket in search of a detergent to wash the dishes to pass in front of wicker baskets, among many baskets of many shapes you see one that grabs your attention .... the dishwashing liquid is now forgotten like the rest of the things that you should buy!
The brain starts to think about what you could do with that basket, and while you think ...... you've already put into your shopping cart!!
Bring it home and after a few days ..............

Un cestino per il ricamo ma anche per tanto altro....

A basket for embroidery but also much more ....

Farfalle all'uncinetto che si sono posate sopra ad un cuore, sopra ad un puntaspilli ed alla sua spilla che lo fissa sulla tasca ed anche li una farfalla si è posata.......

Crocheted butterflies that are laid on top of a heart over a pincushion and its pin that secures it on your pocket.....
